Glyph Arts & Technology LLC
We teach the line where science meets the hand: physics and engineering on one side, the making trades on the other, from CNC and CAD to the forge and the stone wall. Rooted in the Southern Appalachians, built for people who want to understand what they make.
The Idea
A glyph is a mark that carries meaning, a bridge between an idea and the thing it stands for. That's the whole business: connecting the equation to the workpiece, the traditional craft to the modern machine.
Too much education stops at the whiteboard, and too much shop time skips the "why." We do both, in the same session, with the same pair of hands.
How We Teach
- 01 Small classes with real bench time for everyone.
- 02 Theory attached to a workpiece you take home.
- 03 Modern and traditional methods, side by side.
- 04 Traveling across the four-state mountain region.
